The power connector on my 74 Scamp has 2 connections with 4 wires.

Red, Red/White (which go to one pin)
Orange and orange(might be brown) (which go to the other)

Can anyone tell me what these are?

The Red is the 12 volt power for the radio. None of mine have a red/white wire.

Oragne is for the light inside the radio, usually operates with the dash illumination lights.
