Those are great water pumps. I have two of them on slants. FlowKooler water pumps are top notch.

I put one on my most recent slant, haven't run it enough yet to tell.
I have one of their pumps on a 318 too. That one dis make a difference vs what was in there before.

I was wondering if they may pass too much water too fast? Some slant sixes have trouble warming up enough. That may not be an issue at all, just wondering. They look like top notch quality but a little expensive.

my thought as well. but I'd rather pay good $$ up front for quality than paying for it again down the road and having to re-do things because of cheap chineseum failures (which always ends up costing more in the long run). so far I've been reading a lot of good things about their products for various V8s and so far it sounds like the few /6ers running them are happy, so I'll go this route. I've just started gathering quality parts this year in anticipation of finally getting it built next year.

I appreciate everyone's feedback

Yes! After we replaced my sons 3 or 4 times with defective, "new" water pumps, I was just about ready to order one of these. Then I decided to install a known good used pump. That was quite a frustrating couple months.

For you racer types (you know who you are), the billet aluminum impeller makes this water pump about a half pound lighter than other replacement types.
jus sayin......
