In my opinion I would say a 2 barrel would be perfect for a street car and easy to tune too. It all depends on how wild you intend to go with your engine.

www.paddockparts.com has your windshield gasket.

The best intake is the one barrel alluminum intake that came off some cars and trucks. There is not much performance gain between the one barrel and two barrel on a stock engine. Been there and done that. As for as the windshield gasket that should be no problem for a automotive glass shop. I had no problem getting one for my 65 Baracuda . 74 should be a piece of cake. Thanks Ron Parker :D :D

Um...wrong. The swap to a 2bbl, with no other mods, is worth about 15 BHP and about 15 lb-ft of torque, which is definitely noticeable.

If you swapped to a 2bbl and didn't get a noticeable performance and driveability improvement, you did something wrong or there were other problems that remained unaddressed.

Dan you were right i had a senior moment. I looked back on some old racing notes in my log. The car was a race car but had the stock engine in it. Note says first run with super six setup and was 3/10 quicker in the 1/8. Thanks Ron Parker
