Fair enough. :)

It's what I have and it's already had so many other parts replaced along with the roll bar that I'm willing to waste a little more time and money on it for little to no return. That's just the way I roll I guess!

(Now if I could just convince some other Slant 6 wackos to join me in my insanity... )

Front K member bolt hole is okay.

Here's the worst of it. I think a Safe T Cap will work.

Image
A Saf-T-Cap can work only if you have some good metal to weld it to, and there isn't anything safe on that whole frame rail you can even weld to. You need to buy some universal frame rails from Art Morrison and gut the whole front of this project.

Shoulda ask for a picture first. :P Seriously, that is going to be a tough job with so much deep erosion to the surrounding metal. It is a good candidate for a replacement frame rail or a tube chassis build up.

Think about this Rob. You want to patch up a rotten frame rail and go road racing. :?

Maybe I should just bury you near Wookie when you guys come up.

True Dat!!

I've only fired the thing up twice to tack weld things. One worked,... one didn't. It's a little 110 jobber.

Don't worry Scott,... I didn't take you seriously about helping.

Well, as far as I know, the Ruster has a brudder. At least there was another Duster on Rob's trailer heading home when last I saw him and Wookie.
