I am looking forward to tomorrow,(Sunday) According to Mason Dixon web site this is a Mopar meet, and opens at 9 AM. Is this just vendors and show cars, or is it open to the public at this time? Is anyone showing up early to browse and ogle cars and shop vendors.? And what time? I read somewhere it opens at noon.

Will not race, but will drive the Dart. It is not race ready at this time, not that it ever was. ECU is old MS I and not tuned at all. It seems like a waste of time to try and tune something that is coming out soon.

Congrats Charlie. I did not see if you are there tomorrow, but I hope to meet up if you are.

charlie shut me out in round two. I had a 7 second lead, looked into the rear mirror and he was way back until mid track and that car took off like a 2 cycle track motorcycle..congrats charlie. you drove hard buddy
he also help me figure out dial in and to launch on last yellow instead of the green..

Yes congrats to Charlie! He earned this one. Also had a total of 16 cars. Missed out on a 50 point race but we still had a great time.

Sam, we would sure like to have you run with us?

The gates open at 8:00AM. The time trials and racing begins at 12:00. Yes it will be good to get there early. The pits will probably fill up quickly. Any racers should try and get there no later than 10:00ish. If you don't get to park right with us please looks us up ASAP and let us know you are there.

See you all in the morning,
Rick

PS. Got to hit the bushes and try and find a couple more racers.

My car would not pass tech. They told me I would have to install a batt cutoff to race again. Anyway, it is just not right this time. I am glad I asked, I was not planning on getting there until noon. I will get there early instead.

Ok Sam, Still be glad to see you.

Also as Greg said he dropped into the 12's with Ruster.

And I think we have 3 new records set. Don't quote me. But Will Burns set one, as well as Charlie Schmid. And Ryan set the open new class record with his Dart. None official yet. But more to come.

Still looks good through noon, then only 30% chance throughout the afternoon / evening. Still good chance to get this one in. Think positive thoughts.

To those who are coming in for tomorrow, If it is raining when you get there, I would not pay to race ($35) Just pay to spectate, and then if it looks good you can always go back and pay the $25 to race.

But it is not going to rain!

30% chance is not enough to rearrange your life.

Big congrats to Charlie for the race win and Will, Greg, and Ryan for the record (and personal best) setting. Seymour ran almost 0.2 sec faster than ever in his white car, and his fastest was beside me - 13.58 @ 99 MPH.

Fantastic day of racing. Let's do it all again tomorrow!

Lou
