I took him home and let Jill finish him off!  He was alive when I left, but just barely... That rifle was a nice touch Dennis.  Although the twangy country music definitely had the right effect. Cookie could barely see straight by the end of the day.  Thanks fer not bein' too rough on him Bagel. He's a good feller. He just needs some direction in life. 'Course, I ain't got no room ta talk what with draggin' home yet another dang Duster what I don't know what ta do with...

Did I 'member ta tell all y'all that we drug home a 5th Duster...? This one ain't no project. That's fer sher! It was in a warehouse fire & I went in with another feller here on the Forum ta git it and use some parts off it. I wound up gittin' a 3.21 geared 8 1/4 fer Stella along with a set of pedals and floor shifter tunnel fer a 4 speed swap. I thought I wuz gittin' a 4 speed too, but it turned out ta be about a gear shy.  And,... We got a solid set of front frame rails fer the Street "Ruster" ChumpCar Duster! I figger I can just duct tape 'em in & we'll be ready ta race!

I pulled the pedal set out of the parts Duster and was going to cut off the front framerails for the black Duster, but I couldn't find my Sawzall blades. I did some yard work instead.

"Stella" has started asking about that fiberglass hood... (Okay, it's actually Chase that has been asking... )Maybe this weekend would be a good time to pull the hood off... And maybe the fenders and such in preparation for the front framerail replacement.

Strip it, cut the good body panels off and rollbar, and scrap it. Not worth your precious time. Time/life is finite and precious. Lou |

Yeah,... but it's that whole "bird in the hand" kinda thing... Lou I thought I wuz gonna git invited ta race with some other fellers with a Slant 6 powered ferrin jobbie, but my friend left me hangin'... So,... This here car is gonna be my "ChumpCar" some day... It's kinda like the Turismo... It can sit down there at the bottom of the hill until something happens... Or doesn't...
