I hope it runs good buddy! IF the weather is decent and I can pull .14 out of my butt I may try for a record, but I ain't holding my breath for good weather. |

The Dart and I made the trip to WI easily (790 mi) on Monday night and Tuesday. Did a few adjustments of tbars, healights, etc along the way. Car drove wonderfully. My oil leak is not bad at all - less than 1 qt in 1000 mi, so livable for now. Should be fun to drive to CC and race next weekend. I am spending a few more days with my mom and dad in WI, then shortening my work trip and coming back to Cincinnati airport on Friday midday. So, I might even make the Friday night race! Lou |

Just picked up some race gas ($15.50/gal). Local track (Gainesville ) is having TnT both Fri and Sat night. Going to try and make one of them. Weather doesn't look to promising, though. Will be a good test for the truck and car. |

Bad news for me. When I changed the oil in my van yesterday, I found a fair amount of small metallic flakes along with a couple of 2-3mm chunks in the bottom of the catch pan. They didn't stick to my magnet, and looked like :aluminum. So definitely not towing or driving the van. I still might come and hangout with you guys. ![]() |

Sorry to hear that Brian, Look forward to hangin' out if you make it. You can crew for me if you want! Rob, There is 1/4 Mile SLant 6 racing on Friday, COrrect? I just do not see anything on the Kentucky Dragways website schedule / facebook about the track running any other programs etc on friday. It looks like just info on their schedule for Saturday Show and race only. Maybe we are getting some sort of private track event while the vendors set up for Saturday? Greg |

I think Rob said we can run whatever we wanted to. Sounds like they are flexible to let us run our own races. |

I think Friday is T&T, and we get to do our 1/4 mile race. Saturday is their show and our 1/8 mile race. |

*****NOTICE***** I reached back out to the track last night to confirm everything for a third time. They are no longer open Fridays! Apparently they’ve had some family issues. I am really sorry! I know many of you wouldn’t have planned to come for just a one day event. The track management has not been what it used to be for many years now. I thought I was being proactive enough confirming things multiple times, but I was wrong. ![]() ![]() I will reach out to everyone as soon as I post this. |

Well that not good. But it saves me some thrash. Took my car for a TnT Sat night. Car ran OK on a sort of easy run. Only made one pass. When I went up for a second run the brake pedal didn't feel right. A lot closer to the floor, and spongy. So called it a night. Also the trailer brakes are not doing their job. They are working but not very well, and I only have Sunday, and Monday to fix this stuff. So sorry to say, I'm going to pass on this meet. Just too much to try and get done and too far to travel for a one-day event. See what happens for Knoxville. |
