Sounds good for the Blue car, Rick. I am glad it is good to go. By the way I think I have my Gremlins resolved too, at least it sounds good in the garage. I probably won't test it before Virginia race. We will see how it does then.

After racing the car for 5+ years and keeping it in a dusty garage it gets plenty of dust everywhere. So yesterday after my test drive I got out my pressure washer and went to town. Opened the trunk and the doors and just had a big ole time. The neighbors thought I lost my one last marble, but I pressure washed the floors and windows inside and everything inside the trunk. I just have one seat and some door panels which I stayed away from and it worked out great. Trunk was the worst and it looked pretty good when I was done.

Also here is where I put my fuel pump relay. I put a spare right beside it juts for insurance. Only 2' of hot wire to the pump and a single trigger (ground) up to my switch panel.

One last engine shot before the hood goes back on. I am putting on my wish list for a light weight fiberglass hood. At least some day! :D :D Had the doors open letting things dry out!

You have more guts than I. I never get water close to electronics if I can avoid it. Looks great, though!

Gee, didn't I sell you a 64-65 Valiant 'glass hood a few years ago? Maybe it was someone else...

Rick, check with Gary Brunner. I got a nice metal hood from him, several years ago. He said it was used to make a mold for a fiberglass hood.

The violent car at the top of that vfn page is eye catching...

Now back to Ricky's post!

Rick I really like where and how you installed trunk supports. Do they work good?

Yes they work well. They actually go a little over center when closed and hold the trunk down.
