Okay, I think I got it adjusted right: Flapper closed so the exhaust heats the carb: ![]() With the flapper open so exhaust gasses go straight out the pipe: ![]() Let me know if that isn't right. |

Eric If youve dumped the flapper, your intake will be constantly blasted with hot exhaust, which will actually worsen hot start probs. The /6 works differently than the V8s KG |

Not so, in fact the exact opposite happens. Little if any exhaust gas reaches the bottom of the intake manifold. |
