Hey Guys:

Thanks for the B-day wishes...

I was feeling enough better that we went out to the county fair to watch the motorcross races. The company owners son was racing and took second in A class. Of course, he has all the advantages of wealthy parents helping him with the best equipment, but that said...he's a good kid and a darn good moto racer...heading to Vegas next week for the big race I guess.

Anyway, I was tired but not sick, and had quite alot of fun people watching at the fair and the races. Wouldv'e liked to ride some of the killer looking festival rides they had there...and I am usually a amusment ride addict...but between how I felt and the long lines I decided to hold off for a trip to Carrow Winds in the future.

Anyway...thanks, and so glad you solved your carb problem and learned in the proccess...as much as I know, I'm always learning more, and unfortunately, I was never an engineer with hundreds of hours dyno time with carbs to gain experience. Only the time tested track experience, and working at it for a living trying to create happy customers while earning a living.

Gearhead

Hey karl

I dig your philosphy... I ain't like to spend time learning "dead" things... I like to get my hands greasy while learning. I did learn a lot with you guys helping me and backing me up. Thanks a lot.

My next goal in learning nex things would be fabbing annular venturis (since they never made them down here and I can't get them at any shop). So far I took a pair of regular venturis and drilled them inside (14,25 internal diameter) next I'm gonna line the inner piece in delrin and gonna press fit it inside the metal thing. Wich drill size should I use for the 6 holes around the internal side of the venturi? the internal diameter of the shaft is 5/32.

Thanks and will kep you posted.

PS: karl, you reminded me of my motto, "if you're not learning you're dead, and if you're not learning and not dead, you'll be so soon"
