Compress clay/playdough balls under points A and B as the plate is held parallel to the sway bar. The clay would give you the thickness and angles for the two wedge-shaped spacers. Bolts at A and B would go through the K I would probably file/grind the spacers from soft aluminum. The L-bracket could still reinforce hole C. Would the L-bracket be overkill if this mounts to the K-frame at two points? Would the triangular piece be too ugly? ![]() Doesn't even need to be that complicated..... Keep the Lower mounting point (with the L Bracket), and extend the upper bolt thru the K-member. The spacers are just because of the slightly different angles of the brackets and K-member. Like this (look at last picture at top of thread too) ![]() |

That is simpler. What happened to Lou's pics? How did he do it on his 64? |

My webspace died for some reason. Need to get it running. On my 64 I just welded the addco mounts solid and welded them to the K near the front where the strut rod washers sit. Lou |
