well I got stiffed on the intercooler, have filed complaint on Pay Pal but neither of us not even gotten a response from the seller, who is still selling stuff on ebay since then. he has failed to reply to all emails. I have all the documentation, including his name and home address, going to file complaint with his hometown district attorney to see if anything happens. but on the good side, my 35mm turbonetics wastegate is here. Also, there is an article posted in the artical section of the forum, by WAYNE about his turbo project...anyone know WAYNE? has he got an update since he wrote the article?? will he answer questions???? where in the world is Wayne???(sound familiar) haha thanks GRT

I'm the current owner of Wayne's turbo parts. Here's what I know of happened between his selling the parts to me and the time he wrote the article:

He attempted to install Holley 4160 modified by an unknown tuner who had access to a milling machine and other shop tools. Used an Offenhauser manifold. He apparently got it running but did not get enough tuning done to make it run smoothly.

At that point, he sold the car to an owner who did not want the turbo setup. He sold the carb, turbo, manifolds, and a few other components to me.

I managed to make the setup run but with major drivability problems, which led to my EFI project.

reason i asked, he did a little deal of tapping into the fuel pump vent for fuel pressure...i will only be at 8 to 10 pounds of boost max so can anyone give their thoughts on this mod from experience? Thanks GRT

finally received intercooler..i am probably going to have to use a 64 dart grill to fit it behind the grill. a 63 curves inward and a 64 sticks out. i like the 63 look better but i will wait and see GRT

finally got the intercooler ...but i have been in canada the last 10 days so i was out of touch...got to get back on the PROJECT....going to look at using an aftermarket radiator to make room for this racing intercooler...going to run electric fan on the radiator so aligment with the fan on the engine will not be an issue and i can just run a pully on the engine front. GRT

here is the latest. have made changes in design. i will be using a water intercooler and also will use a turbo box. for those wondering, its where your carb and all is in an enclosed box so the carb is completely in the pressurized area. So with that said, i got a great racing air intercooler for sale. not the cheap china ones on Ebay. will send picts if wanted. ITs really big thanks will keep the project progress posted thanks GRT
