There is no reason to use a domed piston in a 225 SL6.
Note: The domed pistons in the H-Pak kit were designed for the "zero deck" 170 and just happened to also fit into a 225, so they were used there.

Honestly, today's 'hot combo" for a high performance / high compression tall block SL6 is based on around the 198 con rod and 2.2 piston design. (long rod engine)

In general, a 225 SL6 with a deck height in the -.045 to -.020 range will get you over 10 to 1 compression with an unmilled cylinder head.
