if the starter wouldn`t turn with a boost, disconnect the drained battery and jump straight to the battery cable, sometime the low battery can take all the juice from the good battery, when you get it cranking over again check to make sure you have spark at the plugs and fuel to the carb.

finally just broke down and bought a new starter, after charging the battery for a long enough time, it still wouldnt start. still am havin fuel delivery problems, what I did notice thou was that it would hesitate and die in park, but if put into drive it would cancel out the studder and idle fine. Atleast it'll move, justa few more tweaks and I think she'll be road worthy...
