I saw a set of these used some time ago. And I'm almost sure they were listed for a truck? I don''t see how they are going to fit any of our A-Bodies? But I may be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.

Rick

I was wondering the same thing Rick. Looks like they dump right where the steering would be. :?

Hooker used to make a set of truck headers that looked similar to that too.

price is really hard to judge on ebay imo; when you see something that just doesn't come up too much, people are always willing to pay 'just a little more' then they originally wanted.... I've done that m'self, hehe

Nope. I was convinced they would go well over $400, so I didn't rebid after $270 initial. Maybe coulda swung it, but oh well...

What does it cost to get a custom set made, anyway??

Lou

Spit out the Kool-Aid Canuk boy. That's not really red ale.

Fu$& Harold and his POS headers. :x

Lou, I got a set of the mild steel flanges coming from the guy on the Bag. My buddy has a set of 3 tube collectors already. We will be using 1-5/8" tube, and I think I'd like the primaries about 24" long or so. I'll be able to tell more after he gets mine done.

I know the fancy set of nitrous headers Mike had done were over a grand.

Plus coating.

I offerred to do a test on my car (turbo application) since I had a base HP & TQ # from the chassis dyno. He never followed thru. My offer was send me the pipe at cost and I pay for the Chassis dyno and he could use the info....As you probably guessed...it never happened.

You are right Dan. I should call and get one for the Daytona instead of wasting money having headers built. It would probably be so fast I wouldn't have to spray it anymore. :D :D :D
