I think my leak is running down the A pillar because I put a new wiper seal in and it still leaks but doesn't seem to be leaking from that spot. I can see it dripping down right above the kick panel near where the door opens. Is this a windshield leak?

We're dealing with the same problem on our current '74 Gold Duster project. I suspect ours might be the roof rail seal.

The door is adjusted to close tightly, the window is adjusted to close tightly, we replaced the door seal, and yet, it still has a dribble. I believe it is because the old roof rail seal is dried up and shrunken so that it does not make contact with the door seal at the front of the door, at the bottom of the A-pillar.

Last night, I dusted both surfaces of the roof rail seal and door seal with talcum powder. This morning, with the door closed, I am going to hose down the area until I see the dribble of water on the floor pan. When I open the door, I hope to see in the powder where the water got through.

I'll let you know,
Jerry
