I run 6200 thru the 1/4 and run 50 lbs of oil presure. This is on a six year old race engine and is still going strong. Ask Glenn Terry he knows. But I
have a great engine builder. I have probbaly put 2000 runs on this engine. And it will go just as fast today as it did six years ago. Thanks Ron Parker :D

Man... don't beat yourself up to much on this...
1) Your chop-top Guzzi Valiant has come a long way in a year and is already one of the best looking SL6 race cars on the West coast.

2) Hate to say it but... it takes some work to get a drag car to "settle down"... especially a fast one. Don't ask me how I know.

3) You keep "moving the stick"... first it was "I want solid 15s", then it was "getting the car into the 14s would be great", then I heard "getting it into the 13s would be really cool"... now you want consistent mid 13s!

Rebuild your current junk yard engine to get the car back together for the start of next season but then start on that K1 / Wiseco long rod engine we have been talking about... and build that engine to run 11s, with a shot of spray.
