Bob, we are talking about a double roller timing set. Tese are considered heavy duty/performance parts. They were used on some of the heavy duty truck engines from the factory. The "silent" link belt style chains you are refering to, are still inexpensive. About $30 for the chain and sprocket set, at Advance auto parts.

I recieved my crank sprockets and chains, from Summit, today. I now have 3 complete Cloyes double roller sets, and 1 Hughs (Avon) set. Did anyone else order?

I did a little research and I know you guys that posted the info about these probably already know this, but here it is for everyone else:

Double Roller Timing set components:

Cam Sprocket: 1964-1970 Dodge A100 truck w/slant 6 225 (50 teeth)
Cloyes p/n: S338
AE Clevite p/n: S338

Crank Sprocket: 1967-1978 Chrysler Big Block 383/426/440 (25 teeth)
Cloyes p/n: S339
AE CLevite p/n: S339
Sealed Power p/n: 223339

Timing Chain: 1969-1982 Chevy Truck 454
Cloyes p/n: C168
AE Clevite p/n: 9168
Sealed Power p/n: 222168

Interestingly, all the manufacturers use essentially the same p/n's.

Anyway, hope this save someone some time in the future, my engine builder cannot get cloyes from local distributors anymore but he says he can get Clevite w/o issue. I'm on a short time schedule so I cannot wait for Summit/Jegs.
