Race is Sat Oct 23, 2010. Silver Dollar Raceway, Reynolds Georgia. 1/4 mile track. Gates open at 1:00 pm. Entry is $10.00 per person at the gate, tech cards $25 per car. not to sound dumb or anything, since i have never raced down the 1320, what is a tech card, and why is it needed ???? -Mike |

ok i kinda found the answer to my question, but i am worried about the tech inspect for my car, and i couldn't find what exactly they inspect for on the website, -Mike |

great link Doc, but what about rust ?? seriously its not terrible, my rockers are rusted out in front of the rear tires, and she has some frame rail rot driver side (brilliant chrysler engineered F-body), would this DQ me on a tech inspect ?? or does it boil down to if the tech inspector wants to be anal ?? do you need rear brakes ?? -Mike |

Yes, you need rear brakes. Rust is not a concern. Basically, using common sense, a safe street car will pass tech. Some main things looked at are enough tread on the tires, and no missing lug nuts. A good battery hold down (no bailing wire or bungy cords). Radiator overflow bottle. Seat belt. Less then 12 inches of rubber fuel line.
