If you smell gas and not oil, maybe Esp47 is right that you are running rich. It's important to get all the facts, like a doctor or a detective, before you decide what the problem is. You can try to adjust the idle mixture on the carb, 1/4 turn clockwise at a time, and see if that reduces the smoke. Keep track of how much you turn it, and if it doesn't help, you can return it to the original position. |
