i really like how clean it came out. how did you go about drying it? drip dry? heat gun/heater? also as far as the ratio goes for 1 - 1 is that pure zep or zep with something else? also where can i get the rust remover you used ?

bob, in the pic with the power wagon , i let the parts drip into the drum and use the air hose to blow out any holes and quickly go over the entire part. the zep only eats rust and has other chemicals mixed into it. order it from a zep salesman. the 40 cc head is on the left in the pic with machinist. the 60 cc head is on the right, now 50cc. i also had intake and thermostat face machined to true and get rid of pits and sins.

Nice work, Ron! Where are you located exactly?

Hope we can see you at the Hagerstown, MD race next year, or some other Slant 6 event...

Happy building,

Lou

Hi Ron,

We are contemplating another Slant 6 race further north in the next 1-2 years, and solid interest from folks like you (like attendance at Hagerstown or if we get a Carlisle race going) would help make this happen.

Possible locations would be Englishtown, NJ or Lebanon Valley, NY.

Hope to meet you in person sometime soon!

Lou
