Does anyone have the cam specs (lift) for an Engle 276 cam? Apparently Yahoo dumps emails older than four years old (?)... I can't find my "GodsRods Duster II" receipt folder just yet and I want to give Gerald the cam specs so he can choose the right springs. Their website doesn't list the Slant 6 stuff. |

I think we used that cam in the Mopar Muscle aluminum engine: http://www.slantsix.org/articles/hrm-sl ... 03-pg3.jpg To be honest, put some light springs on it for now, something that solves the coil bind situation. Run it and go from there. DD |

I found the cam card just as I was leaving for the banquet. Thanks! Since this engine will now be running on the street as well as the track we will put the lighter springs on it like you suggest. Gerald has the head now and will go through everything on it. He came up for the banquet and had a good time bench racing with folks. I'm still trying to get him to build himself a Slant 6 to have fun with us. |
