You can just flatten the grass, no need to mow. Lou |

This is really cool!! ![]() I understand the scrap price draw to dismantle it, but you have to be at least a little bit tempted to keep it like it is... ![]() Then again, I may be just a little bit more "Slanted" than most... ![]() ![]() |

This thing is a tank. I don't need a tank! I don't want to race Lou in a tank while he pulls away on his bicycle. ![]() ![]() ![]() Rick |

Dibs on the "parachute lever"! (BTW....does that one have the knob that turns to adjust cable tension?) Hmmmm....something else, too....maybe. When you get to a point that you can look it over fairly well, I might be interested in the trans-mounted park brake assembly. Hopefully, it will mount onto a 904 without too much effort. Roger |

Um,... Thanks, but I think I'll pass. I've got plenty of t-shirts, hats, license plates and stickers in support of the Mason Dixon race. ![]() Rick ![]() |

Post subject: | Shifter |
The shifter in the tug looks like some I have seen in some 60"s trucks or something, can't remember. But it had a very simple cable set up. here it is. ![]() Large bolt held the bracket to the large factory tab on the side of the tranny. Clevis went to the shift lever. The yellow bracket was an arm to hold the kick down lever back in the correct position. Would this likely work on a 904?? I plan to hold on to the shifter for now. |

The shifter looks strongly like an A100 shifter. |

D series used the same thing in the early '60's.

Rick.....you misunderstood my request. I'm interested in the park brake lever, and possibly the trans(or diff)-mounted park brake assembly. Not the shifter. I have a '23 T-bucket project stashed, and Iowa law requires a non-hydraulic parking brake for inspection and licensing. If I'm not mistaken, those tugs have a trans or diff mounted, drum setup that might be adaptable. Roger |

Got your PM Roger. I understood your request, I just wanted to get it out on the floor and see what I have. I just posted about the shifter cable set up as a FYI Rick |
