I plan on it as soon as I figure out how to post pics and stuff. Im much better with old mechanical stuff than new eletronic stuff. |

I kinda like the idea of keeping the outside looking like nothing special was going on under the hood. It sort of reminds me of the Black 60 Belvedere I saw at the Kutztown, Pa 'Car Show' years ago. The car had the factory 'Ram Induction' engine under the hood, but if you closed that hood, no one would ever suspect what was lurking under there ![]() |

Post subject: | K-frame swap... |
Swap over to the 62-66 suspension and disc brakes are a "bolt-on" and the rebuild parts are easy to get. Be sure to get the steering box and look at the steering column shaft coupler, that is different. The only other thing to watch is where the 62-66 Lower Control Arm's torsion bar adjustment lever comes close to the frame rails, this area has a dip to be sure the nose of the lever does not hit. Grind the nose of the lever and bang a dent into the frame rail to be sure you have clearance. Let me know if you need a 62-66 K-frame assembly. DD ![]() |

Post subject: | Great pic & thanks for the offer |
Doc you've always got the greatest pics . . . well lit, focused and without distracting detail. I appreciate your offer and will definitely keep it in mind when the time comes. |

Post subject: | I like the look of '59 'brows' |
I've always liked the look of the '59 Dodge eyebrows. I think I like them just as much on the 61 Valiant |

How about a taxi cab replica with a beefed slant? Imagine seeing that fly down the 1/4...[/i] |

Nevermind, I just realized it was a 2 door. But that would be an interesting strip car, eh? |
