Actually I think it was a Ford Top-Loader, the T-10 wasn't strong enough.

That might"Splain" it. I always wondered how he could be so wicked fast with that heavy 833. That makes sense now.

Yep, Ronnie admitted it in an interview a decade and change back when someone was restoring one of his old race 'cudas and the guy was trying to figure out what was the "correct" transmission...
