If I lived only 590 Miles from a Track that Had 3 Ft Elevation I would be there.

I have been talking with a guy that is trying to start up a seattle area slant six club I am hoping that I can get him and his buddys to come. I also have a bunch customers with /6 and v8 a bodies that will come. These guys don't care about a date so we need to figure out who can't come on the 15th and so on.

This will be fun and there will be WCD swag, trophies for cars (that was fun last time) and other stuff. plus it's a huge right off for the shop :)
I hope we do this.

thanks!

Kevin and I are in the process of starting up a Snohomish County chapter of Killer Bees and slant sixers.. We'll be setting up a Facebook page and a page on Meetup.com.. There is currently a club in Seattle and another up north from us, I believe in Bellingham.. The more the merrier :) We're also spreading the word around Evergreen Speedway where we race..

After discussion this morning over breakfast, Kev and I have decided that we may very well attend the race at Samoa.. We'll just bring one car however.. :)

Nah.. Just hooked and addicted to it now ;) In all seriousness, we've got the same financial issues just like the next guy in line.. There are things we're having to give up to attend these races.. But it's worth it to us.. I'm having a blast racing!! :)

I might be able to do August 5. MAYBE, and it is a big maybe, I will be able to drive up my brother's 74 Duster/67 & 71 Dart/72 Demon. It probably won't be done, but it might be roadworthy.

I'll try and make it and if I can't bring the DUster/Dart/Demon I'll try and bring his van. It is bad form to show up to a slant six meet driving a Lincoln!

August 5th looks good to me. No slants in the stable right now, but if I put in the work I can bring an A-body at least. Otherwise I'm likely to ride a Honda. 8)

I assume if you're hosting a bbq with this meetup that you might like the rest of us to bring 'potluck' type dishes?

We need to find a slant six powered ice cream truck or food vending vehicle...
