Chase and I are in Roseburg, OR. We'll test out his new Duster this weekend at Woodburn. We may have to drive this thing to Elk Creek! :D

Street cars are way more funner than track only cars.

Good to hear from you Rob. Yes I have been reading about your big Western swing. Both of you have a lot of fun and be safe. For sure we are depending on your appearance in Elk Creek!

He has soccer camp the same weekend as the Elk Creek race,... He said I can borrow it! :D

Count me in!

Soccer camp? Instead of Slant Six racing? I thought you just spent almost 2 weeks indoctrinating him.

Its Good news that you will be there Rob. I hope we have a good turn out but I havn't heard from many racers yet and it is just two weeks away. I am getting a little nervous. Remember racers there are no more races until August. This is an excellent track where we are treated very well by the management, and this race has a good purse guaranteed. Try not to miss it.

Ron,
Sorry to say that I will not be coming to the race. I am just afraid to try a 6-7 hour ride with my back. Sure wanted to come!

However I just talked to Ryan and He is planning to tow down the race car with Slantkota. So he and Whitney will both be racing. Also Frank Funk (Mason Dixon winner) is planning to drive Ryan's Dart down. So you can add 3 to the list!

Have a great time everyone!

Rick

Greg, Do you remember how hot it was last year? Don't think I want to lay in a pick-up bed at all at 100 degrees!!! Let alone for 6 hours!

And I already have the Teeter!

Looks like it will be Just me and Whitney. Frank will not be able to make it. We plan to tow the race car with Slantkota and be there friday and Saturday.

I just got the fittings to finish up the new water pump on the Valiant and plan to put that on tomorrow. Going to race the car Friday Night. As long as everything goes well I will have the Valiant and the Dakota there. I was hoping to have more of us come down but it didn't work out this time. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. It is a neat track for sure, hope there is a good turn out.

I replaced the caliper that locked up on Slantkota last night since Ryan is at summer youth camp. I also took the time make some brackets and fasten down the shifter cable so it is not against the headers. Took it for a test run for him and it seems fine.

I'll have everything loaded up for him Thursday evening so he can leave first thing Friday morning. Boy I wish I could come too!

Everyone have a great time!

Rick

You're a very supportive Dad, Rick! :D

I'm supporting Chase by racing his car for him!

He's at soccer camp or he'd be comin' with me.

We're planning on Knoxville together though.
