I would definataly be in for a Friday night race at Elk Creek and possibly the Wilksboro race the next day.I am planning to attend an auto-x the next weekend(6-22)so both races may be hard but Ill make at least one of them.

Hi everyone here are the race details for Farmington and Wilkesboro Race

Farmington race is Friday June 14th, gates open at 5:00, open test runs with racing later. Entry is $15.00 car and driver, spectator $10.00. Good purse with winner and runnerup trophies. Camping Fri. nite is ok, stay at local motel listed on website or drive on to Wilkesboro motels (about 30 minutes). If camping at Farmington you need to leave kinda early Sat am because of big race scheduled for Sat. Their website is www.farmingtondragway.com

Wilkesboro race Saturday June 15th. First, stop at Empire Dodge Sat. morning around 10:00 am to display all our car/trucks and recognize Tim Harrold for being our biggest all time Slant six sponsor. Free lunch provided by our gals.

This is also the DALE ROSE MEMORIAL RACE. While at the Dealer we will recognize Dale with special memories by anyone wants to share and display a collage of his pictures. Following this we will unveil the "SPECIAL COMMERATIVE WILKESBORO /DALE ROSE TROPHY" provided by Charles Myers to be given to the prowd winner of the Wilkesboro race.

Wilkesboro gates opens at 4:00. We will have some open time runs and racing will begin around 6:00. Entry will be $20.00 car and driver, spectator is $15.00.
Purse provided by Tim Harrold for both nights. Camping ok at the track.

Ron me and Elaine plus Donnie and Joan Edwards will be there.I may have to trailer my car since I haven't been able to find any wiper arms and blades for it yet. Looking forward to seeing everyone again. We probably will only make the race on Sat but we will leave here on Friday and stay at the Addison inn.
