Mark I know that had to be a rough ride, but the main thing is you are ok. I hope you decide to build it back or an even better one. Take care.

Glad you are OK Mark. Car is not looking too good. There was a 62 Valiant Signet near us that just might be ready for a low-ball offer for another builder or parts car. I will try to find that guy again.

Take care Mark,

Bruce & Wendy

Pretty sure I found the problem,L rear slick had a puncture in it.I added air in it twice and it kept going down.At the track It was low a couple pounds but I thought it was because it was in the shade.I added air but had to wait in line about 45 min so who knows where it was at when I left the line.I also hadnt checked them just before I did the tv run, about a hour. The two good passes were within 10 min of each other with the tires checked.I will allways check them just before the burnout in the future.Mark

I'm going to be trying out a (mini) spool later this year, as my re-engineering of the 'Brick left it out of balance laterally.
I believe I'll try to learn from your hard luck lesson, and make it a habit to check my pressures prior to each run now.
I don't really trust locked full width rears (just an irrational thing, no first hand history with'em yet).
