Also... set the static compression ratio, to match the cam and it's "phasing", when installed in the engine. (Set your Dynamic Compression Ratio to support the fuel you intend to use)DD |

Just to be clear ......the unit Im offering is not a new rebuilt engine.....it has about 5000 miles on it. It was not bored and honed with a torque plate . The rods have been balanced but the rotating assembly has not. The valves are not premium valves....they are medium duty Chev valves as are the springs It has a Dutra oil pump....Erson cam installed +4....Hughes roller chain and Smith Bros pushrods. Cr is 9.25 ....runs on 87 The head has been radiussed around the valves and bowl hogged. No porting other than a cleanup has been done. Experience would indicate this motor will make between 160 - 180 hp and has outstanding torque and drivability. It comes with a distributor dialed in for a 5 speed 2800lb car. For extra money it can come with a 5 speed . |

Why don't you just throw them things (Slant and 5 speed) in the beer truck and show up at Hamilton, Bristol or Clay City..? Come to think of it... Bring that Lincoln rear end too. |
