Sorry, still no time to write a proper post. I believe the car should do mid/high 140s, but we had a few problems. 3.55 gears throughout, and I think those are perfect. It was not power limited at 136, but REV limited (faulty) and still pulling hard up to that point.

Looks like Hot Rod Mag really liked Bob's car. There are 3 pics in this collection, as many as any other car out there, I believe.

There is also a turbo Slant 6 Dodge pickup ('37 or so) that we saw at the car show. Pic 81 in that collection. Had my turbo Slant Dart next to it for a while before they kicked me out for being double parked...

Congrats to Bob again!

That's rightous speed for a 66 Barracuda with a 170. You will have to tell me more about it when I see you.
I would think a lot of folks would want to hear about this little 170 engine!
I agree. I would like to score a 170 down the road.

Watching the show a couple of days back when Bob and his car were featured. Kept my eyes peeled but no sign of Lou. Got it on the PVR

Post subject:  Anyone up for Aug 2014?

Very cool! I am not as handsome or talkative as Bob. Glad that showed up. I saw the pre-release version on the web and it looked nice.

We are scheming and Bob is building for a 2014 Speed Week appearance. Anyone want to join us?? PM me if so...

Lou
