This is a bit dated, but here's an update. Turns out I had the pickup tube in the wrong position so it was sucking in air by creating a vortex in the oil. Their words not mine... Also the car came back with a cracked harmonic balancer, crossthreaded adapter for my oil pressure gauge into the new oil pump, and now the rear main is leaking like crazy!
But at least now she's got good oil pressure. I also had to replace the brake line running along the firewall because it had been smashed shut. And the real kicker is the transmission wasn't even tightly bolted to the engine! Last time I let someone else work on my car.
