There isn't a link to a flyer for the Mopar Southern Classic on their website yet.

Typically there is Test & Tune Friday night and then Slant 6 points races Saturday and Sunday...

Is that what you all intend to do again this year?

Hopefully WAYNE can chime in here to confirm, but on our race schedule it says Sat and Sun races, which I believe is accurate.

Just got off the phone with Shane. Test & tune Fri. night. Racing for us both Sat. and Sun. Same purse as last year. Same spot under the trees by concessions. He should have the web site up and loaded very soon.

Will Friday night test and tune time slips count towards a record?
We want to run gas on Friday night then convert back to alcohol on Saturday and Sunday.
Glad to see it's only MoPar for Saturday and Sunday, good job Wayne.
The guy that ran the race a couple of years ago had the off brands race on Saturday.
Just kidding Rob, you did the best with what you had to work with.

Yes, any runs made during Friday-Sunday can count towards a record.

I have five 25.00 RockAuto gift certificates to distribute during the weekend.

How about:
one for first and second on Saturday and Sunday

one for lowest legal reaction time in Saturday's race,
in case of a tie, most recent time stamp wins

It's a good thing other folks are running the show now. :lol:

(Although, you're probably going to be running "Mopar versus the World" again Saturday and then all Mopar Sunday. That's the way it's been for as long as I can remember. Just not enough Mopars for it to be an All Mopar weekend)

Y'all have fun and post some pics so'z those of us in far and distant lands can have some fun too. :wink:

Looking at the posts from last year, it looks like Alanna is running Clay City.

Wayne can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe he will be attending Clay City this year.

Just a spectator here, but I recommend someone that will be attending take lead on this race and let everyone know you are the POC.

Norm Foster (Challenger) just posted that he bought himself a new race car and is trying to get the funds together to race it at Clay City! :D

Inquiring minds want to know what this "new" race car is, but there are enough clues to figure it out. :wink:
