So why do I think marine engines turn in the opposite direction from car engines? Cams must be different if this is so. . Sam |

Some, but not all, marine engines in dual engine configuration, are counter rotating. |

Quote: would my 1972 intake fit on the 1999 engine, and my risers fit the exhaust with this in place, can I eliminate all the pollution stuff and the computer stuff. sorry for all the questions but before trying and finding it will not bolt together or work first, the questions are the smart way to go and you guys know Chrysler engines I am told.
Will the intake bolt on? No. Can you modify the intake or heads so it will? Yes. Is it easy? No.Thanks Bob Will your exhaust fit? It should, I have seen LA engine headers bolted on to Magnum motors. As for the ignition, I think your LA engine distributor will work in a Magnum motor, but I am not 100% sure. |

sounds as a lot more than I thought, I was thinking on using the 1999, as like a short block and put my stuff from the 1972 on it. but with all the pollution stuff on the 1999. sounds like more than I bit off than I can chew. thanks guys I guess I will look for a 1972 and rebuild that. and yes I have both counter rotation, and clockwise in my boat with both the same you would only go in circles. again guys thanks, and thanks for taking me in. as my boats are all Chrysler engines and I have all problems ever heard of so far. Thanks Bob |

Iv carbed a 92 magnum engine. Distributor from a carb 318 works just fine. Mopar makes an intake and so does edelbrock. Do a search theres sombody else that does also. Ran just fine. |
