I've also noticed that the applications for most of the TO bearing assemblies on Rock auto list many Mopar applications by different years for different models. V-8 or SL6. Some back as far as 1960 on manual full size Chryslers. It looked like the D and W trucks were the only ones going into the 80's, to 1987. I suppose that the most of the 435 trans must also use the same TO bearing, as the heavy D and W series trucks were also on the application lists from '69, on. Brute sure did good for Charlie! Looks like the Brute kit might be the only viable choice if you need a 10 inch disk for a slant truck. Then get a metal TO assy. ala carte ( unless Brute decides to start using those now). EDIT.... I took another look at V-8 TO assys. and there are two different bores. About 1.252 in. and 1.4995 inch. So I am wrong about the 435 being the same. I imagine the larger bore is for an 435, including a slant 435? ( I have an 833). |
