The first one that comes to mind is carb inlets. They use a shoulder on the fitting and a gskt to seal. I believe brake fittings, while double flare, are still straight thread. Probably the fitting of the water temp bulb/capillary tube is also straight pipe, using the taper pipe (external)thread as an adapter/bushing for the manifold(internal tapered pipe thread). Is that clear? |
