Why, it's common knowledge that the Jaguar V6 is the best engine layout. They even use it in the F Type Jaguar in what is probably the finest engine of all time. No, this is not something that was done in 1910, or the miserable 1980's. It's a modern V6.....that Jaguar produced and sold....by simply taking their V8 and simply not adding two of the cylinders!!!
