The egr was removed before I got it, also the car now runs on 2 and 1/2 turns out on each side with the Holley 350 any less any I’ll die trying to accelerate usually fine idling. more turns out it will sputter at certain speeds and I assume is should need more turns out because it’s already rich. When I first got the car some push rods were bent, every thing is moving freely now but could my cam be wiped it has 120000 miles?

I don't think your idle circuit should be affecting your cruising issue or your acceleration issues.

The "flapper" (manifold heat control valve) has nothing to do with the EGR, and should not have been disabled/hacked. That alone can cause a good list of driveability/economy problems.
