I was thinking we did not have enough interest and so Rick said he would not organize a Slant 6 class. That is fine with me, and I do not want to dilute attendance at the big reunion race in Clay City Sept 18-19. But if Rick wants to do M-D too, then OK. I can likely only make Sunday. Lou |

Lou that is from the initial post. If we have enough to run our own class, I don't see any reason not to. Unless I'm missing something. If it turns out that we can't get 6-8 people committed to coming then I would just say we run with the other classes on the Sunday Mopar event.I don't see this diluting a race that is 5 months away. I just figured if we had enough people would like to race each other. But If everyone just wants to race Sunday with the other classes just speak up. I am fine with that if that is what you want. It's not on the flier because we didn't race last year. Elmer hasn't got back to me so yet anyway so we are still waiting on him. He may say no. Crazier things have happened |

I’m still a few days from digging the Challenger out of storage. I can’t commit to anything, but am hoping to make it… Life gets in the way most of the time. |

Guys I think it is best to just revert back to running the classes that they have at the Mopar event. I don't think we have enough "definites" to try and pull our own races together. My own car is driving me bonkers too! Some can't come Saturday & some can't make Sunday. So If you want to run a Test & tune Saturday come on out and run it. They usually have a free gamblers race during T&T. Then Sunday just show up and pick your class and have some fun. I'll post the gate times & classes later. |

Next Saturday will be a test & tune. I am planning to go down and run my car since I haven't been to the track yet at all! Saturday - $60 Gates Open 10 AM Test & Tune 12-4 PM Sunday Mopar event Classes Super MOPAR * Pro MOPAR * Street MOPAR * Trophy MOPAR Times Gates Open 8 AM Show Cars 8-4PM Ballots in by 1 PM Show Awards 3:30PM Drags 11:30 AM Fees Drags $50 Show Cars $25 Vendors $50 Spectators $20 |

Car just ran a 13.13 / 100.4. With exhaust system on through a single muffler. I was happy with that. Plus I have in 4.56 gears which hurts my time and mph. 2nd run 12.93 /101 |
