1. Any chance of seeing photometric data of a regular (cheap Sylvania, GE) halogen 7" sealed beam? Would give us a starting point to compare the Hella and Cibie data to.
Yep, several sealed beams are in the queue for testing, too.

2. If we want to buy lights from you, how do we go about doing it?

Hmm so I go down to kragen and they have the xtravision halogens in stock. After I finish wiring the relays, I come to install the lights, only to discover that the spade terminal on the back of the bulb is too big for 1/4", too small for 3/8" spade.
Correct headlamp sockets to accept up to 10ga wire are in stock here!

I found the right terminals (0.312") at digikey.com for about 11 cents, accept up to 12awg wire.

Thanks, can't wait to see how bad stock lighting is.

I've noticed on your site and a couple others that offer headlight conversions, is that some of the lights come with an internal parking light.
Other than being a neat look, what is the benefit of this feature and does it affect the lighting characteristics of the headlamp? I assume only clear (white) or amber bulbs are legal for the internal parking lamp?

Outside North America, parking lamps are required to emit white light. For that reason, once amber front turn signals were mandated in the rest of the world in the mid 1960s, the US-type combination park/turn lamps went away as new-vehicle equipment, replaced by separate, dedicated parking lamps (clear bulb behind colorless lens) or, commonly, a parking lamp integrated into the headlamp. There's no special reason other than convenience for this grouping of functions, which is also the case for US-style amber combination park/turn lights.

In North America, parking lamps are allowed to emit either white or amber light.

Whether or not if affects the lighting characteristics of the headlamp depends on the design quality of the headlamp to begin with -- there are plenty of bad ones out there, but the major names (Cibie, Marchal, Carello, Hella, Bosch) design their lamps such that the parking lamp doesn't interfere with the headlamp's performance.

Note that most of our cars will not accept a headlamp that has the parking lamp socket unless the inner hole in the bucket is first enlarged to provide clearance.
