When I found my BBD it was without the Super Six pie tin. A few cars over I found a lean burn 318, so I took the pie tin and unscrewed the dreaded lean burn computer from the side, leaving a sizable hole for air to get in (in addition to the snorkel). My plan is to leave it open during the summer and fab a cover for LB holes for the winter months so that the hot air port will work properly.

Not much of an increase in air flow, but I needed an aircleaner to fit the new carb so I'm trying to make the best of it. It's got to be about the same flow as a dual snorkel, right? And no cutting or welding (two things that my bench isn't equiped to do...yet!)

I love it! Touting what your car doesn't have! What do you do, just hum tunes as you go down the road? ;)

Seriously, nice Scamp, I like those cause they're Darts, but they're not...

My super low-mile '75 even had a horn button with the Dodge emblem, and it was factory installed, I feel certain. Oops! :?

Your right, the original owner was pretty frugal when it came to options on this baby. Of course I could have listed "Courtesy Light" but that just seems wrong.

I've left the dash intact for that nice clean look, installed an amp under the seat, two 6x9's in the package tray and have a little MP3/FM portable that I pull out from under the seat when I want music (which is pretty much all the time). I've certainly heard better, but withall the road/wind noise in these old beasts I'm not looking for "the absolute sound". Heck, most of the time all 4 windows are down anyway, I love the no "b" pillar feel.

Hard-Toppin' 8)

I like it too. My latest hardtop is a '72 Newport Custom 4-door hardtop. 180 degrees of sweep, could do some serious "drive-by's" ;)

My '75 Scamp, they even left off the vent windows in front (which I missed sorely). Your '72 has those, doesn't it?

yea, it's go 'em. That seems to be one thing that all people miss in just about any car. Damn accountants must have found alittle more profit without them.

here's some pics of the car:

Suite, dude ;)

It looks to be in about the exact condition (and interior color) as my former Scamp, only mine had a 318 (but sssssshhh don't tell anybody here  ) a 2.45:1 gear and a "cataclismic" converter... Launched about like a school bus that is stuck in second gear

Wuz gunna put a 360 crate motor in it, but plans changed, funds diverted to another project and car was sold. I'll try to scan some photos sometime. The '75 just never had that feel, either... Hard to explain, just no "personality"... All '75ish and plasticky feeling...
