Cam was right,I was stupid,the JP gear set thru me off,got it figured out and going back together,maybe fire it tommorrow,probably friday,can only work on it from 4.00 to 9.00,I will be in Redding in my flat black chopped topped 62 valiant,,,not my SANDSTONE,(not pink) car,Mark |

Got the Guzzi car fired up tonight,Wish i had 1 more week to tune,will be there less than perfect,still have to get drivers windows in it,want to go around the block before i load it on a trailer and drive 600 miles,I just want to be there with a possible crab killer,mark |

I drive all,any of my cars daily,drove my other valiant to Vegas,The chop top car has been driven every day back and forth to home and work for the past three months,cam change has put me in the other one of my cars for the past two weeks,would drive the chop top to redding,but with 4.56 gears, would mean I should have left yesterday. I own cars that people think should be trailer queens,I just drive them,chop top car was done to my race car standings,definately not trailer queen material, it's alittle rough around the edges,hopefully good enough to put ya out, like you did to me in Vegas,You should feel bad about putting a rookie out,You need to teach me how to beat a old fart,in a ford,looking forward to giveing ya a hard time in Redding,mark |

Mark,  Sorry, I didn't know you did drive your cars daily. Yes I can understand why you need to trailer the "Chop Top" 4.56's would really make a long road trip. But you need to think about all the other cars that will be there. The more cars the greater the odds against you winning, after all it is bracket racing.Still buy you a couple of beers, looking forward to seeing you again   .

Just a thought if everone would park un-needed vehicles, trailers on the otherside of the area (further from the track) we would have more room for all those to camp and park racecars by the trees. As it looks like we will be quite a large bunch. |

Hi All..Just a heads up for those of you that are planning on getting to the track on Friday. David Erickson will be there around 4:00 and open the track up..If for some reason the gate is still locked, give him a call on his cell (530) 209-6033. They don't want anyone other than racers into the track on Friday and the track manager won't be there until around 7:00 pm. If you go after 7:00 you will be okay. If you are planning a earlier arrival, give David a call. Please make note of his cell number above...I think Glenn will also be there on Friday as well as several other racers..This is the big one...BEE THERE... |

Hi everyone,fired up the stripped to the bone 64,looks like it will be fine ,may be tuning at the track. Also installed Myrons engine on his 67 that one looks good to go by mid week.Took the 64 GT to Edd ,that looks like a go for Paul,my 69 that Josh is driving is ready ,basically untouched since Medford. As of yesterday it looks like Marty is very probable with his daughters 66 and Stevey,son of one of our friends from Oroville will probably drive Martys 63 sedan. Fopar has a good suggestion,park the empty trailers across from the trees, north side,they no longer use that road for tech so it wont interfere with anyone, will see you all sat.Sergio |
