Seems like a good time. I'm planning on both days. Was it confirmed that we can camp at the track?
Looking forward to seeing you again!

It's good that we can camp, but will we be locked in from Sat. Morning until Sat afternoon? I may want to go on a hike or something during our down time.

Greg

I just spoke with Dennis too. We'll do TWO races Friday eve (1 quarter and 1 eighth). I'll call the track. I plan to stay and race Sat eve too. PLEASE PASS THE WORD AROUND. Dennis is posting on facebuk.

Greg, I'll be outside and can pick you up for a hike or whatever.

Dangit, we're gonna have some Slanted fun no matter what!

Lou

Amy and I will be at the Comfort Inn in Winchester. Everyone is welcome to come and hang out. Text me before you come. 708/254-3761

In all likelihood I will NOT go to the track Saturday night, but we'll see how Friday goes.

Can't wait to see what other shenanigans the track has in store.

I'm actually coming down there too. No dog for the fight (race) but I been here ~20 years on the forum and want to meet up with that I've been back n forth with in all that time. Baymont Wyndham in Lexington KY is where we'll be. Doesn't look far from clay city.... Hopefully my old Garmin (bought when radio shack was doing their going out of business sale thing) does its job.
I'll be bringing a bunch of extra goodies along hopefully some of you guys can use.
I have a "for sale" thread listing some of it. Not getting out by any stretch. Just gotta make some room and get the maze opened up.... I might add to that thread and might be a few surprises.
There's also a guy that posted a while ago about needing a /6 727 that I just woke up the thread for, I have to decide which way in going with that truck. IF he gets back to me (big "if") I'll pull that out and drag it along (another "if" someone can hike it back up at least closer that way. Trying to figure out if I want to do the A500 or the A 833 OD that I have in the shed in there, getting the trans currently in there out will help me figure that out....
Will get there late Friday and staying Friday night and Saturday night.

Rob told me I could camp overnight Saturday and leave Sunday morning. So I would imagine we could do the same Saturday morning. If we can't then I will have to leave.

OK, I'm confused about the race times, track opening times.
Can someone recap the latest schedule for Friday and Saturday?

As far as I know, Friday open is between 4 and 5pm, and Saturday is 7pm.

Morning all - Just happened to look last night and see this and am thinking of coming... What is current schedule for Sat? First post is showing a 9AM gates with testing starting at 11, but the KY Dragway website still shows a flyer that is indicating 7PM gates for Octane Night... Just wanting to confirm to plan accordingly.
