I will be there in the "CHOPPIE", looking forward to it. I may have a freind convinced to show in his 84 S6 van and another buddy with a 63 dart wagon (we found one DD thanks), I am also going to call a freind in Tehama with a 63 S6 330 4-DR. Unfortunately I dont think I can make any evening activities as per I have a Halloween party going on at my house saturday night. Anyone who wishes to attend it will start around 7pm and I have three acres so a S6 cruise in would BEE KOOL. The costume theme is your favorite childhood character but I realize it is short notice. Maybe someone will find a new project to purchase from my pentastar pandamonium of a backyard. P.S. is the 11 second wagon that was at Samoa gonna show? P.S.S. CEEJ sorry no emblem,he decided to keep it,but I still have the number for the guy with the headlight rings.

Amy told me she can't make it. So no Bee Costume. And my Dart will need the head taken off. So it won't make it. But I can't wait to start videotaping.

Howdy ya'll
Looks like I will bee there after all!

Need tune up help - but should bee able to run.

How much will it cost me - not great at this new math stuff!!
My girlfriend will bee bringing her car along so she can go visit stores in Redding while waiting on all the racing. Anyway, myself, my van, my twin sons, her car and herself - her for one day at least - me and the boys two days.

Okay, someone tell me what the math total is for all this??

Can't wait to bee there on Saturday morning! What time does the gate open again?

Later,
Dan

Okay, I come up with $80 if she is only there for 1 day, $90 if she happens to stay for both days. :) I don't know what time the gates open but somebody else might know.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Linda

Only $30 in fees for each driver for the whole weekend! It's cheap!
Quote:
Just heard from the track management and they are really excited about us coming 'in force'. I am sure Chuck or Doug will do a future feature story about this event in a magazine and also with Seymour. Please all when you check in on Saturday, take two (2) tech cards..one is for Sat and one will be for Sunday. We can turn in both days with the Sat. tech. We will only pay $10.00 total for both tech cards...$10.00 per day per head for addmission. $30.00 for entire weekend...They really want us to break this record..BEE THERE...

Post subject:  Broke down hoopties

I was all ready to go and my convertible developed a rod knock, I drained the oil and found metal and coppery lookin dust pieces in it. I just built that dang engine too. Guess I'm just not a very good mechanic. I will open it all the way up this fall when Im able.
The 75 4 speed I raced last year ar Medford has tranny noise and I don't want to get stuck on the side of the road trying to drive it up. :(

I really did want to make it to Redding.
Good luck everybody.
Charlie

Andrew I tried the phone number I have for you. The answering machine does not sound like you. Would you please give me a call with your number again.
Wayne, I promise to have a car by next season.

the noise sounds like a bearing that is bad . iIt howls going down the highway. It started making that noise on my way home from Medford last year. I have driven it since. It started to make the same noise when I am at an idle in neutral with the clutch out. If I had a trailer I would chance it. But I don't.

I was looking forward to it too. I am very bummed out right now. I even considered pulling the motor out of the 75 and sticking it in the vert. I would do that in a heartbeat if I had a pit crew here.

Charlie, are you sure its not the throw out bearing in the 4 speed car??? Check your play on the rod to clutch release fork off the Z bar....if its just the loose throwout bearing you should be OK.
I will be sorry to miss you...my cell # is 707-498-0264
