Spoke to Greg at Carlisle today and he may be able to make our race after all. To those who make it to North Wilkesboro, encourage some of the Tenn., NC, contingent to make a trip north. We'd love to have them come up to HAgerstown at the end of the month. well looks like I will have to do some thrashing to get done in time to make it. I blew another head gasket and the oil pan is leaking I guess my setup won't take 20+ pounds of boost without oringing the block . If we get it done I'll turn it down to be safe,but man is that hard to do  . normaly it wouldn't be a problem to get it done in a weekend but I have a cummins pulling truck to get ready in my free time for a pull in a week

HOW MANY of us are interested in going to the "Street Race" on Friday night, 7/30? I think it's $30-40 and starts at 5 PM? This will affect when I travel, and I might do t'n't down here at motormiledragway (.com) that night if nobody is going to Hagerstown Friday eve. Thanks, Lou |

Wayne, some of the guys stayed at the Hagerstown Convention center. They have lots of open parking area. Quote:
Hagerstown Hotel & Conference Center 1-301-790-3010 (3 or 4 miles from the track on the same road) They have lots of parking. $75 double occupancy, with Breakfast. I have been to the conference center and it was nice, but have never stayed in any of the rooms, sorry.
Lou and Greg stayed there, so they can let you know if the rooms were Ok.It would be great if you can make it to both days. I have to check with Ryan about Friday night. Rick |
