I am not buying it, the bank is. Number one son will pay them off. The guy has more money than I do anyway! Remember the days when ya lived at home - had a job - and no bills? The main reason for the purchase was a father/son project. I am very much looking forward to it. |

Don't those stickers add weight to the car or does the corresponding increase in HP offset the weight increase. Wandering minds need to know.. |

I cornered my Chase the other evening and kinda layed it on the line just a bit... Remember the days when ya lived at home - had a job - and no bills? The main reason for the purchase was a father/son project. I am very much looking forward to it. He loves the Dart, but says it's "too much" for him. (It IS a real handful to drive... Cookie, I'm glad to see that you finally have not just one, but TWO cars to play with! Quote: So who is ending up with the Street Ruster?
Depends,... Cookie needs quarters,... You want a windshield,... I need some lexan,... "Let's Make A Deal!" (We're gonna dance around this swap/trade/sale thing we've been talking about until we're all too old to actually see it through! |

Sorry, lexan and fiberglass are being delivered this Sunday to a Nebraska racer. I still have a header and a motor plate though. |

Bummer. I figgered we'd never git around to swappin' nuthin anyways I s'pose... I'll have to make my own windshields and buy Howard's doors I guess. I don't s'pose Cookie's gonna make any more trips up yer way 'fore the banquet, huh? I thought he got that header on the Piggy...? |

The trek north depends on D's available time and the temperature. If ya need/want/covet Howard's doors let me know maybe I can help somehow. The Piggie comes equiped with Clifford shorties until I can replace them. I have Dutras but want to get them coated. That may be the second thing I do after I track down an 8 3/4 A - Body rear diff. |

The MP header won't fit in the Piggie anyway. I'll be in Indy for the ICH swap in March. |

Howard is coming to Louisville the Wednesday before the banquet for the big farming trade show. He's bringing the driveshaft for Chuck.So,... I have about 20 days to figure out a way to afford the doors (or convince myself all over again that the cheapy hardware store plexiglass is good enough to use again Notice, I'm still trying to talk myself out of this! |

You can see your kids swim anytime. ICH is only once a year. |

You ain't got no kids, huh? I've chosen to do "my car thing" over doing family/kid stuff three times in my life. Two of those times were Slant 6 events. I was glad to be able to "help" schedule the banquet this year. It just "happens" to be the one weekend in February WITHOUT a swim meet. |

I stopped by the garage the other day after work and "fiddled a little" on the Duster. I was waiting for Frank to swing by to get his trailer and figgered I'd try to make a little progress on something. I swapped the starter for the smaller one out of the Challenger to give me some more room to get the shifter cable away from the header. I was fiddlin' with that and covering a couple holes in the firewall when Frank showed up. So, I'll finish covering those holes in the firewall and figure out which way I'm going with replacing the yellowed plexiglass windows. Then I may have to swap the 8" Ford rear end out for the 8 3/4" rear end that's under the black Duster. Ohio Valley is only about 30 miles from the garage, but I don't want to try and tow the Duster on a car dolly with a spool. |
