My 2500 lb. 2007 Honda Fit with its 5-spd. manual and 4 cylinder 1.5 L barely averages 38 mpg in city/hwy. combined sensible driving after 6500 miles.

Go figure.

Right now I'm feeling like one of those so-and-so's that come and post something tantilizing then you never hear from them again. Honestly, I just got caught up with some work and hadn't had time to check back in.

Here are pictures of the brochure from back when he was actively marketing the Power Plates. I tried to make them big enough to read, yet small enough to load.

As for the screen, the one pictured I'm guessing would be just fine. I used 2 of the thick gaskets and one of the thin ones. The 2 thick gaskets spaced the bottom of the throttle plates away from the screen, and the thin one was the lower gasket. From manifold, thin gasket -- screen -- thick gasket -- thick gasket -- carb. My screen had a dish in it to simulate the angle I mentioned in a previous post.

I'm currently working on a home-made Power Plate for an '83 Ford 460 powered motor home. I'm just modifying the EGR plate by boring the primaries out larger in a step, then machining an aluminum insert (X2) for the bores. I will be eventually posting an article on that at www.FuelEconomyTips.com if you want to check in in about a week or 2.

83 Ram D150 Lean burn removed and replaced with points. Carter BBD replaced with a suprisingly good reman. A833OD Transmission. Everything else stock. Manifold leak around runner #5. From about 4 tank fills, mileage varies between 17.5 and 18 mpg.

Got the fuel mileage down to 11.2 MPG!
