Are you running a boost referenced fuel regulator? |

I am running a boost referenced regulator. It does not seem to jump up as much as I would have thought it would. It goes up about five pounds, I think. And the boost is going up 10 lbs. |

i have no exsperince with blow through but while sorting out my own problem i came across some blow through ideas ,one was that the boost reference regulator should match the rise in boost, so at 10lbs of boost you should have 10lbs of fuel pressure,i think that is how it works |

Right TLJ, with a boost referenced regulator, it should be base fuel pressure plus the amount of rise that the regulator has built into it. (not all have the same ratio) For example, my regulator is a 1:1 ratio. I have a base fuel pressure of 6psi but under 20psi of boost my fuel pressure goes to 26psi+. The reason it goes higher for me is that the bonnet sees more boost than the intake does. |

I will watch it more closely. When it does go into boost, I am trying to take in about 5 or 6 things at once, and it is easy to forget something. I know I could data log, but there are certain things the data log simply does not watch, and fuel pressure and preignition are two of them. I do have a fuel pressure gauge in the cockpit so it is observable. Yes it is electronic with a sending unit. NO, there is no fuel in the passenger compartment. Sam |
