Looks like thirty cars is possible,i will lend my dart to Josh,Iwill drive martys 64 gt and i should have (maybe) another 64 ready for Edd .Myron looks good at this point but not sure ,Marty not sure but probable,if not these cars could be borrowed but would have to be towed. Another 68 dart from Oroville is possible and we have another car that iam trying to set up for Paul( Edd and PJs son in law.)Better get a bigger bbq. |

IIRC, the record to beat is 25 cars (Clay City, KY, July, 2002) but I could be mistaken on the biggest turnout yet (date or number). The East Coast group is looking at revamping our racing schedule to bring counts up at a smaller number of races overall. Discussion continues at Bristol this weekend... Lou |

Ther is a guy from Willits, that has a Dart vert.....have talked to him on the phone.....he will be here this weekend for racing at Samoa(the last race of the season is the 21st, so I will try to have him come to Redding. He is looking for info on stuff, so I already told him this would be the best place to seek it. Andrew/Kidd |

Oh man! I better get a new battery for my Camcorder, and get a decent camera... there will be lots of Photo ops and video to be shot. As usual, I will do my best to cover the event. But that means, I am going to need a copy of the racing bracket, and a GROUP PICTURE!!!! We need to show those east coast guys whos who, and make a weekend that no one will soon forget! I plan to be there with my HD Camcorder, and want to take a photo with each team member next to their car, as well as a group shot for both days, since we may have some people only showing up on Saturday. I will have a ton of photos as well. As with the video program I have, I can pull any frame and make it a still shot. But the camera also takes photos, even if I am taping. As long as they don't play the music during the race, like the promise this time, the video should turn out decent. |

Hey, my buddy Racin' Jason just bought a 66 Barracuda slant car!!! I may have to help him change a clutch, and tune it.......but I am hoping to get him to Redding!! Ceej, I hope to put WHOEVER I race in the first round, on the trailer.LOL, last weekends lights are promosing........022,060,020 So, I have another mod to do to the transmission on the race car......lets hope its for the better.LOL Andrew/Kidd |
