I did it a couple months ago and there was no mess at all. Being a noob and reading some of the posts here, I went into it thinking there was gonna be oil splashing all over the place and the feeler gauge getting all chomped up and hard to handle. It was actually quite the opposite. Much, much easier than what some try to make you think.

I'll try it while it's running. Like said somewhere in the last 3 pages, it will be a good way to see how the valvetrain is working.

Yep! pretty *cool stuff from a board moderator * Nothing in my postings were made in a vicious or malicious manner, so what do I get *Methinks yer horse mebbe to high to get off* Well In my life I guess there is one thing for certain I have learned, it is better to be on a high horse than to be the horse.
